After completing the undergraduate studies, students have to face competitive examinations to get a right placement. Most of such examinations are framed to test the depth of the knowledge of the students through objective type as well as subjective type papers. However, during undergraduate studies the examination pattern is totally subjective. So a freshly graduate engineer does not have the aptitude for objective type questions. Also, the author feels that the students who are well versed with all the necessary formulae are able to perform better in objective as well as subjective papers. However, because of the extensive syllabus, it becomes difficult for him to extract and revise all the necessary formulae a day prior to the examination.
